What Norwood am i?

hi i'm a 23 years old guy from Italy. at the age of 21 I saw that my left temple was recessed. I contacted a tricologist and now I'm under treatment. he give me saw palmetto for 1 year and from this november after the third visit i start to take plus saw palmetto every day, finasteride 1 mg 2 times a week. i think that my situation from first day it's the same, but now when i added propecia i see a little improvement.Now i write this because i don't know where i am on the norwood scale and if my therapy it's to weak for recover my hair, my tricologist say around norwood 2 and that i have diffuse thinning, but i believe that i'm more than norwood 2 i think around norwood 2.5-3. sorry for my english and for have posted too much photo, thank you

looks like maybe norwood 2.5 with diffuse thinning up top? Try to take finasteride at least 3 times a week for it to be effective at the minimum.

Yeah i have a diffuse thinning especially on the left side of my head, tomorrow i call the doctor for say that i want take finaztsrids 1 mg every day

Ty, i want say in any case that i have diffuse but wirh light its much worse than real, for example the part of my head were is the major miniaturization ia not on the top but in ther left frontal hairline between- above widows peak and recession.

Of course it is worse with lighting which is parallel to hair direction like in the bathroom but the NW6 pattern is clearly visible with a buzzcut so ending up a high norwood in the future is possible. luckily it doesnt appear that diffuse is eating into your donor area or the sides which is a good sign.

That being said, your hairline is not as concerning as your diffusing pattern. If I were you I would strengthen your therapy protocol.

I have already up the dosage to 1 mg since 24 february, but where do you think i sit? Because my right temple i'm almost sure i'm a 2 but the the left it's a bit moore and i don't understand if i'm 2.5 or or in middel of 2-2.5 like a 2.2

You seem like a dense NW2 with your hair grown out, it looks awesome. It seems like you're diffusing towards a textbook Norwood 5A in my opinion (And Norwood A patterns are more common in Mediterranean countries too) not a Norwood 6. That may be better if you need a transplant later on since it's easier to transplant a NW5A than a NW6.

Ah guys one question about propecia since 24 february 2021 i take 1 mg every day but before since 6 november 2020 i take saw palmeto every day and finasteride 1 mg only twice a week, i know that for wait the i result i must wait almost 6 months, i have to consider 6 month from 6 november 2020 or from 24 february 2021?
