What Method Do You Use To Accurately Place Your Piece At The Hairline?

Hello,

I’m looking for ideas on how to accurately place a piece at the hairline consistently and take the guess work out of it. I’ve been using a pen and making little dots where the piece was before removing it.

It seems to be working ok but I wanted to see if anyone had a better method. Sometimes the dots will wash off with the cleaning of the scalp.

I just use my tan line. If you don't have a tan line, you could just place the unit in position without glue and re-mark the front with a make-up pencil, or leave a temporary mark by digging your thumbnail into your forehead.

Again tan line combined with fingers and then imprint of comb teeth. Some use a make up pencil to mark
