You haven't mentioned hair loss around the temples or a receding hairline, so it isn't androgenetic alopecia (i.e. typical male pattern balding pattern).
It looks to me like either telogen effluvium or alopecia areata. Both match the history you've given ("the last [few] months lost a lot of hairs").
My advice is go to a doctor ASAP. I think I see some hair loss closer to your vertex as well. So, there's some diffuse hair loss going on that just happens to be most visible around your ears because of the follicle plateau (i.e. scalp line ending where skin around ear begins).
If you have any other health conditions or symptoms (feeling tired, irritable, stress, low energy, poor sleep) make sure you mention them to your doctor since they might be co-existing things and will help them steer toward a diagnosis.
