LACE FRONT SUPPORT THIN TAPE : I tried the tape i have to say the worst possible thing i ever tried( I would not recommend it to anyone.
This is it:
For me the NO Shine tape also didn't come in.I agree... bought a whole bunch of it... it's VERY VERY hard to manage. I find it NOT sticking to the lace... but sticking to everything else.
The regular Lace Front Support, on the other hand... is awesome. And... if you use it on a POLY surround.... it holds for a really long time.
Thank youI’ll tell you I’ve used a lot of diffeeent tapes for my hairline and the best are:
Walker Blue Lace front - great overall
Walker Blue lace front thin aka 3mm: good luck managing it though. If it wasn’t so hard to work with it would be amazing as the hole is great and unnoticeable.
Elastibond - new tape that I’m posting a review on just a few. To sum it up it has the absolute best hold I’ve ever had at my hairline BUT it’s got a yellowish color to it that really about ruins it for me. Go read my review.
Noah, what are some tips you have for applying 3mil? My girlfriend absolutely hates working with it. The few times she got it to work, it was amazing. I don’t think she is willing to mess with it again unless I tell her I learned some new tricksIn my experience the only tape that is suitable for an exposed hairline is the Walkers 3-mil thin lace support tape referred to by BaldBearded above. The reason is that it is different from all the others. It is not actually tape at all, but semi-solid glue sold in a tape format. Once you remove the backing paper there is only glue left - there is no central core of polythene as in the case of all other tapes. So there is no line for anyone to spot under your hairline.
There are different "minis", Ultrahold is just one of them. For me the NO Shine tape also didn't come in.
but...I thinking.....is the ultra hold mini tape the same as the ultra hold tape?
