Hey All!

My name is Trevor and I'm 20 years old. I have ben struggling with rapid thinning for about 2 months now. I have been losing hair pretty quickly and I'm hoping I can get some help to save what I have and grow some back! Currently I am only using Nizoral (noticed dandruff), Biotin Pills, Jason Thickening Shampoo and Starting Rogaine Foam tomorrow. Just ordered Finasteride from Keeps and it's on it's way. I'm thinking about cutting them in half and doing .5 mg doses for the first month then bumping it up. Thoughts? Also, what else can you recommend and do you think I have a shot? I heard rosemary oil is good for hair growth and a dermaroller is as well. Thanks so much! IMG_20181107_000309578.jpg IMG_20181107_000309578.jpg

Hello Trevor, your regimen looks excellent. I'm also a diffuser and I've used almost every type of hair loss treatment. I've found that finasteride has been the most effective treatment for me. It has been more effective than biotin, nizoral, and rogaine. As a matter of fact, it's been so effective at thickening my hairs and stopping hair loss, that I stopped using rogaine and my hair is thicker than ever. Even in the harshest lighting, my hair looks super thick. I've been on the drug for 2.5 months and I saw improvement after the first month. I think for us diffusers who recognize our loss early, finasteride works best because the hair is still there, it's just very small and weak. When the DHT that's weakening our hairs is removed, they can grow in much thicker. You seem to still have a lot of hair, so finasteride should really help you. Best of Luck

Hey I really appreciate your response! Yeah I hope it'll all workout. What are some good foods to eat and a good shampoo for hair growth? I've heard stuff with rosemary in it is good.

Also a diffuse thinner and Finasteride slowed my thinning or maybe even maintained what I have. Trying Dutasteride to see if I can get any regrowth on top.

Regarding food, you should always drink plenty of water and eat lots of protein. Hair is basically made of protein and water. Fish, beef, chicken, and dairy will all work. With shampoo, make sure you dont overshampoo. You want your hair to keep some of its natural oils because dry hair breaks easily. I usually shampoo every other day with baby shampoo and just use water on my no shampoo days. This helps the hair stay lubricated but clean. I do use Nizoral once a week though just to get a deeper cleanse than the baby shampoo. This routine keeps my hair strong, hydrated, clean, and most importantly DHT free.

I swear, I just trust you for some reason. For all I know, you could be a frequent user of spoon-based drugs. But then again, that maybe the very factor that preserves; and make this work.
