I'm in my 30's with norwood scale 3 and doing nothing at the moment. I want to do something, but I don't want to deal with the possible side effects of propecia or rogaine.

What would you say is the strongest possible hair regimen using stuff that has very little or no side effects?

Sounds like you're in the straight razor camp or possibly hat slave camp

Rogaine has almost no sides and they go away immediately after you stop using it, I don't think there's any good argument against it. Also Nizoral or some other ketacozanole shampoo is also effective and very safe.
