so the last time I evaluated my hairline was in late March, and I feel like there maybe has been some change but I can’t be sure and want more opinions. I notice depending on how I pull it back, changes how receded it looks. There are some obvious signs, one of my temples is more receded than the other and my whole hairline appears to be thinning. Crown seems ok for now but I’m watching it for sure. Also it might be possible that my wavy hair is covering up any diffusion that could be going on. Pics below (old and current will be labeled.
Baseline at 17 years old:
I’m not expecting this at all, this was my juvenile hairline I know that.
Here is a few months ago when I started noticing changes, unfortunately I didn’t really know what type of pictures to take (none from above which are the most damning usually)
Sadly no dry ones just wet, honestly doesn’t even look like recession here.
Crown from this time isn’t worth posting, the lighting in the pic isn’t even good enough to show anything meaningful.
Here are the pictures ranging from a month ago to today (for some reason the first looks horrible):
Now here’s the thing, all of these pictures are within that month, and the quality’s is very different based off pictures.
I turn 20 in January, I noticed the first signs of it probably as early as right before I turned 19. I didnt even know balding was genetic until I started doing research on it at 19 (stupid I know but it hadn’t even crossed my mind). Other relevant facts are that my hairline has never ever been straight, has always been higher on my right temple (also jagged) and as you can see from my baseline I have (had?) two hairline cowlicks which I feel like may effect how it looks pulled back as in the pictures. Just give me your unadultered opinions, thank you!
