you are definately losing it, seems you have diffuse thinning in your whole front part. get on finasteride asap and thicken those b****s up. If you follow through with treatment you're at a great point where in a year from now your hairloss will not be noticeable to the untrained eye.

What is the typical dosage? I'm completely new to this stuff.

well the recommended dosage is 1mg/day if you want to stay on the safe side of things. Personally, my hairloss is aggressive and i get away with .5mg/day but i have yet to see any regrowth, i just maintain, but i also imagine that in a year or 2 i will have to up my dose to 1mg. Try the 1mg dose and if you have any problems with it then you could work around your doses, just try to stay at .5mg/day minimum.

See a trustworthy trichologist or hair transplant surgeon... nobody here can tell you from photos as much as they like to think they can. I can take a photo which makes me look bald in some lighting and then another where my hair looks fine. An examination is the only way.
