Shedding from the top of the scalp is normal. However, is shedding hairs from the sides and back of the head (below crown, above nape) also normal and considered part of the "50-150" hairs shed daily? I have diffuse thinning on my scalp...

Hi love, shedding is normal. If the strain has a white bulb at the end it is shedding. However, if it is short or broken with no white bulb it is breakage. I have a youtube channel discussing healthy hair, breakage, bald spots, protective styles and many other healthy hair tips, you should check it out, it's Mrs. Cowart 85
