What is considered "bad" shedding?

Hey, so I'm 23, a guy, and I'm at a Norwood 2. I have very thick hair and I'm growing it long on top for some high volume hairstyles. It just turned Spring here and while it hasn't been crazy warmer, we just got up to 70 degrees the other day. I recently started taking Bitoin cause why the hell not? I've noticed this week that I've been shedding a bit. Here's kind of a breakdown.

Monday: I noticed I was shedding a bit in class, I was trying a new product (Mr. Pompadour's Natural Beeswax paste) a high hold matte finish paste. And when I say high hold, I mean HIGH hold. I noticed it was hard to work through my hair and that if I really tugged on it a hair would come out. Sometimes it would be two but I told a good handful of it. Anyway I ended up getting 20 out. Then I went home and tugged over the sink for like 5 mins and about 25 hairs came out. Then I went back and like 15 more came out. So naturally I freaked out.

Tuesday: Honestly nothing really shed that I noticed. Didn't wash my hair this day either. Maybe in total I saw about 15 or so hairs around. Even did the tugging thing and nothing really came out.

Wednesday: So I stupidly tried the product again and you guessed it, hairs came out. I'm trying to remember how much yesterday had, I think about 20 in the shower in the drain protector, and then about 8 or so when styling (incredibly normal for me actually). Other than a few fly aways, I maybe noticed about 40 yesterday.

Thursday (today): So I washed my hair again today, but I used my keto 2% shampoo because I had a flair up of my psoriasis along my hairline and my dandruff was crazy. It leaves my hair incredibly wiry and dry, and I washed again using another shampoo and conditioned it. In all about 25 hairs in the drain protector. Some hairs looked odd, like not like the rest of them so it may be body hair (I am somewhat a hairy guy) and I styled my hair today (NOT with that product, but with another product called Claymation, which while it has about the same hold, it doesn't nearly make me shed or feel really sticky in my hair) and about 8 or so hairs came out (once again normal) and now here we are.

My question is, does this sound similar to advanced hair loss? This seems all of a sudden and I wanted to hear from you guys. Thanks!

Of course when you play with your hair excessively for minutes on end hair is going to fall out. IMO if you're showering everyday losing 10-20 hairs is within normal range of hair to fall out in the shower. You gotta remember that although everyone loses "50-100" hairs a day, there is hair that you are losing that you don't see (hair then falls out as you are walking, hair that falls on your desk that you don't see etc). But to answer you question, I think as long as you aren't finding massive amounts of hair around (like your desk, car, bed, etc) that you're probably fine. If you're really that concerned go to a derm and maybe consider going on a low dose of finasteride if that is the case.
