some people say proscar some people say finasteride just curious on what you guys think is better im on finasteride, whick i also think im in a shed cause my hairs all blotchy all over but i also have a shaved to 1/4 inch but im starting to grow more hair where i lost it, so could this be a shed? wasnt this blotchy before, but thanks

Do you mean Finpecia (1mg) vs. Proscar (5mg)? 5mg Finasteride was shown superior to 1mg, but not by a heck of a lot. 5mg also causes increased risk of side effects.

I think the trouble with comparing sides from Proscar with sides from Propecia is that Proscar was evaluated using subjects with a much higher average age - which is fair, given the condition that it treats! You'd expect older guys to have more problems with libido than younger guys.
