I have been through 3 heavy sheds now and am beginning to see some promising regrowth from a 3 month shed. I have tried a tested a few things and want to share best practise.
First of all I am confident that there is a strong correlation between weightlifting and hair loss. Everytime I go back to the gym and start weight training I experience a huge shed around a month or two later, it's not worth it... its happened twice now I've learned that it seems to have a very negative effect for me.
Secondly call me crazy but I am sure there is a difference between UK regaine and us rogaine. Everytime I have switched from rogaine to regaine I have experienced shedding. I now buy us supply rogaine from amazon.
thirdly routine... I have found that if you do not follow a strict routine (finasteride eaten at the same time period every day, minoxidil applied the same Time every day) a shed may occur. Get a routine and stick to it strictly.
Fourth, general diet. I have found that improving my diet (nothing to strict just three solid meals a day and lots of water) always makes a positive difference and stops the shed.
I have no experience with derma rolling but I don't think pricking holes through your head with a rolling pin of needles sounds like a good idea. I seriously doubt the legitimacy of this product.
