Stupid question but it is bugging me nonetheless

I just have to ask one question... If a grey hair falls and a new one is going to replace it. Will the new hair be grey or black.

Are you talking about if you have grey hair and are taking Finasteride? I don't know for sure, but I have heard of people that say finasteride has darkened their grey hair while they were on it, so I would say that it is possible for new hairs to be black or whatever their original color was. It might also depend on whether the hairs have recently begun to grey or whether they have been grey for many years.

I would expect it to be grey.

So you guys are saying that the follicle will produce a grey hair in place of the fallen grey one.

Any one else can shed light on this

Read up on what makes hair turn grey, its not the follicle growth its a lack of pigment (melonin/melatonin?) that is often produced less as we age.
