What Happened????

On July 1st I decided to get on Propecia, nizoral, and some various vitamins to combat hairloss. I saw results almost immediately and could not have been happier. Well for the past two months it seems like those results have diminished and I'm back to where I was before I started. Is this occurence normal? I know it's only been 3 months and some people don't see results for a year, but why did I have such success so early and now I feel like my regimen isn't doing squat?

---------------------------
Propecia - Daily
nizoral 2% - MWF
Tricomin - TRSat
TGEL - Sunday
Vitamins - Daily

probably the shed

it encouraged the strengthening of those hairs which were about to fall out, and then the newer stronger hairs probably pushed the previous ones out.

just wait for another 2-3 months.

when i started taking revivogen, it had completed stopped my extreme sheddin within 5 days. on month 4,5,6 and 7 i went through extreme shedding. i can easily see my scalp easily now. i am just waiting for those hairs to regrow back and i am aware that this process takes forever :(

Thanks for the reply.

I have heard about the shedding, but I'm really not seeing all that many loose hairs dropping out. I know I don't check the shower because I don't want to be depressed all day, so maybe I am shedding.

How long does it typically take for your hair to cycle and move past the shedding period to come back with thicker, fuller, and stronger hair?

It is so strange how instantaneous my results were; I saw results literally a few days after I started with nizoral and propecia. I thought I was golden so to speak, but no pain no gain right.

So now, you know you respond to the stuff. Use that ease of mind and realize that this is probably good news for your hair.

Keep us posted, btw.

Yup, cyclical variations in the quality of your hair have to be expected with 5AR inhibitors.

A couple of months ago it looked like I was going backwards too. Now, my hair is coming back thicker than before.

This happens indefinately? or for the first year?
