same as me, my hair line is thin but they re still going out and I dont have deep temples. But my top is so aweful, as thin as one could see thru to my scalp. I went to a doctor out of the country when I was visiting Vietnam last year. He gave me some kind of medicine like allergy, and one hair/skin/nail supplement L-cysteine 500mg. It works wonderfully in stopping hair loss. my hair stopped shedding immediately after a few days of using. But I only had 2 weeks supplies, when coming back to the states, I switched to Nioxin and it kept that pace for several months.
I dont know, maybe cuz of stress while in finals exam period, my hair started falling again a month after that. I was so depressed again, my hair fell out like crazy, and it became worse than when I was in Vietnam. I stopped Nioxin and switched to Biotin 5000mcg, than L cysteine 500mg again, and now my hair has stopped falling, I think becuz I already passed the stress. But i can tell that biotin really works, my hair is pretty strong now instead of weak and thin hair before.
In my situation, L cysteine really works on me. You could give it a try if you want to. It is inexpensive tho, about $15 for 2 bottles, 60 capsules each.
I dont know if my hair loss is caused by androgen, but the way it falls out look like so, thin on the top but thick on 2 sides. Hair loss caused by stress is just my guessing, or maybe by both of them.
