It increases blood flow to cure the microinuries caused by microneedling .after microneedling body sends various growth factors to the scalp which many assume helps to regrow heathy skin and new follicles. But microneedling alone is effective or not has not yet been tested. People tested it in conjunction with minoxidil.

So you have to do it in conjunction with minoxidil, or its not effective??

Nobody knows ,I am currently doing it without minoxidil . I have just started so I couldn't tell you it is effective or not. But many does believe it would help without minoxidil.

Needling causes almost every growth factor you have in your body. It is one of the few things (the only thing actually) that managed to turn my minituarized, damaged hairs into thick terminal hairs again.
I only do derma stamping with 1.5mm, once per week and dutasteride. No minoxidil, and its still working
