So about the time my temes took flight I started getting the most savagely itchy head. Sure enough I lost hair in those places even though it took me a little while to establish a connection.

Well now my itching has just gone by about 90% over the last week or so.. Occassional itch for a second or two on the temples or crown but other than that it's slowed right down?

Why is this? Is it because enough hair has fallen out the follicles/hair are no longer tightly packed together (I had and to some dregree still do have thick hair, high follicle count I guess?).

Have I just had a big shed and am now just going to lose more slowly or not lose much for a few years? Is that how is works? In waves?

I'm not on minoxidil or finasteride. Just nizoral every now and again.. I'm also doing LessFap and stopped taking Zinc supplement every day (raises DHT and test I've read a lot of) but other than that nothing has changed?

nothing. you still bald, even if you dont' itch.

the itch is a result of inflammation, and scalp irritation. Pimples, sebum build up (dht mixture)

Sweat can irritate your scalp

Well that makes me feel waaay better.. Not.

Last time my itch stopped this much I was on Finasteride..

Why would my itch just stop suddenly then?

I don't have any pimples and I'm pretty sure build up of sebum doesn't make your hair fall out. Besides sebum would make your hair greasy right and my isn't..

I have been told by a transplant doctor that there is no relation between itch and balding, however I think that is wrong.

Usually in the areas I am experiencing thinning also happen to be where I itch.

Your hair transplant transplant doctor is waaaaay more qualified then me on all hair matters but I agree with you. Wherever I itch I lose hair and right now I'm not itching so long may it continue.

Yeah the itch and male pattern baldness sure seemed pretty tied to together somehow given how many people get both. That being said every single piece of evidence says they are not linked and are separate.
male pattern baldness might be different groups of things going on though maybe some men get the itch have a certain type of male pattern baldness that is different then people that dont get it. Who really knows but its all grouped together right now
