This is a parent compound of a number of steroid reparations. The hormone itself is one, which occurs naturally in the body. SOME people experience side effects, but clinical studies say that this happens only for a small percentage of people.
A larger percentage do experience some effects when initially starting finasteride, but these go away as hormone levels find a new equilibrium, and as other non-DHT testosterone variants in the body are not being suppressed.
