I’ve attached the photo! I am 20 years old and my father has no HairLoss at all! Ummm I’m not really sure if it’s changed or not? Does it look normal to you?

If i were you I wouldnt be worried. I dont really see any thinning. Your dad having a full head of hair makes it very unlikely that ur gonna bald in ur 20s.

I don't understand why people get so focused on their fathers when it comes to baldness. Your mother's side is typically dominant when it comes to baldness (which is why people say to look at your mother's father and brothers for a pretty good indication of where you are going), as they attribute more of the genes they have discovered for baldness on the X chromosome. Your father's genes can influence your baldness, though, but your father's side only decreases your chances a bit. If your maternal grandfather and father are balding, you have an extremely high chance of seeing baldness, whereas having a father with a full head of hair can lessen those chances and possibly the severity of your balding, but more often that not the genes are your X chromosome win out.

It's down to lottery. Mothers side isn't more important than fathers and the other way around. You could be getting your hair genes from fathers side while your brother gets it from mothers side. It's just a lottery ticket.

I think if your dad is a NW0 and his dad as well, you have good reasons to chill down regardless of other family members, though you could be unlucky (lower chance than the opposite I believe) and inherit it from your mom's dad
