What's up everyone

I am African American male, 23 years old. My hair started thinning (badly out of nowhere) in the crown part since last year. I started using minoxidil Kirkland (liquid). The first week of September, I seen results grow on my temple within grow within 3-4 weeks. Around that time I was growing my hair out and by the time the first week of Nov. I got a dark caesar cut .I looked like my young self again and I couldn't believe it. So after 2 weeks I decided to get another haircut and my barber gave me a low cut but my hairline was still in tact. From then Dec 2016-March 17 the temple part would slowly grow back. I had to constantly go to the barber every 7-10 to make my hair look even again because I would go out on the weekends. Until late March I really don't know what happen and the temple part would finally go away. It was kind of stressful and I decided to switch the foam beginning of April. So from April until July the hairs randomly grew back. Then all of a sudden it stop growing. So now I use foam in the morning and liquid at night. Can anybody tell the reasons why it keeps stopping. I need to think of something fast I start this new office job around the 15th of August and I have to look nice and also I need to start dating, I'm more mature now college is over.

what I use is Minoxidil, Nizoral 3-4 a week, Roller and Cocounut Oil sometimes

*I'm in a rush to go somewhere I will fix my story when I get back home (for any errors)

sounds like you're responding well to the treatments. just minoxidil? if you add finasteride you will increase your chances of maintaining and possibly regrow more hair.

some pics would help if you get a chance. it's important to rule out other causes of hairloss before jumping on finasteride. statistically you're pretty young to have male pattern baldness, but it does happen.

Yeah I was trying to stay away from the Finasteride because I read about some people experience but I was really concern because it worked perfectly from the start and it's almost about to be a year now

yeah that's the way minoxidil is. you're not going to be able to maintain with minoxidil alone unfortunately. but i wouldn't worry too much about finasteride. i took it for a year and had no side effects apart from an acne breakout when i stopped cold turkey. the vast majority does not experience any side effect.

So you saying the only way to maintain it is by using finasteride?
