i do not know the supposedly hair-growing effects of fenugreek, but i do know that that'ss the spice that contributes to the characteristic body odour that Indians have on them

yep! I know im indian and if you have certain currys methi chicken for example you will f*****g stink!! - however not such a bad thing as their
hair is usually thick especially tamils/ sri lankans who smell of fenugreek they eat it a lot and well their hair is immense,

I took it for about 1.5 months. It did nothing for me, not even increased my libido. Got bored and dropped it.

I went out today and bought a bottle of 180 capsules so I'll try this out for a month or so and see if anything happens. It's dirt Cheap so no loss if it doesn't

Hey guys,
I'm still on it, 3-5 grams daily.

Well... to be honest - I have a problem. I think it affected my libido, I cant stop thinking about sex. I started messing with girls on tinder, and a few days ago I went out, and the whole night I just watched girls, thought about f*****g etc.

I'm not joking at all. It got to the point I think there is something wrong with me.
I mean, you'll laugh now etc, but I dont know.

Hairwise, I dont feel the itch, I didnt feel it before either, density wise - it COULD have done a BIT of an improvement, but nothing groundbreaking. My hair is more "live", I dont comb it down anymore, but it stays pointing upwards, if you know what I mean, so I guess it MIGHT be somewhat... thicker?

I'll continue using it and report back, but I almost want to look for help, libido-wise.

I just stopped taking it about 4 days ago. I was doing 4-5 capsules 2 times a day. It did nothing to slow down the loss for me and my hair looks visibly worse than it did 3 weeks ago.

For me it boosted my libido and also helped me somewhat in the gym, but hair wise I'm still losing the same amount, if not more. Idk if it's similar to the "Propecia shed" a lot of people have but since starting this, my hair is even thinner than before. It could just be my normal good old friend male pattern baldness speeding up naturally, who knows.

I hear you man. I was losing a pretty good amount before starting this but damn my *** looks so much worse now. There's just no way to tell if this is helping or hurting

Sorry to grave dig, but You can find a couple vendors online selling Trigonelline now, in capsule form, thanks to recent research- namely Nature Metabolism / Nestle's 2024 study. Trigonelline is present in both coffee and fenugreek seeds. However, there's no evidence to suggest supplementing with it could help treat hair loss or thinning.

A 2024 paper by DOAJ formulated trigonelline nanocrystals in a topical cream and tested it in cyclophosphamide-induced alopecia in Wistar rats. After 30 days, the trigonelline nanocrystal group had significantly greater hair length and density vs controls and a commercial hair oil, but was not better than minoxidil.

There is *some* evidence for topical trigonelline (nanocrystal formulation) improving hair metrics in rats, as stated above, but there are no solid human clinical proof yet. I wasn't able to find any studies or research to support whether or not trigonelline in supplement form has any benefits for hair loss. So at this point, more evidence, studies, and anecdotes are needed here.
