What do you guys do in the shower?

What i mean is, say you apply some T/Gel or Nizoral or something. You need to leave that on for 4 or 5 minutes. Then probably finish with a conditioner that you need to leave on a couple minutes too.
I personally sometimes use T/gel for 4 minutes, and Nizoral afterwards for another 4 minutes. Find myself just standing in the shower making sure water doesnt get on my hair, but its boring, i like quick showers

Does that stuff do any good? Im on finasteride and minoxidil and just use a bosley volumizing shampoo/conditioner for thinning hair

I generally shave in the shower or pre-shower, so what I tend to do on Nizoral-days is that I enter the shower, put nizoral in my hair, then start shaving my beard while waiting on the stuff for like 3-5 minutes. After that I generally use some shower gel for my body, put some conditioner in my hair, use something for my face depending on the day (skin-exfoliating two times a week ish), wait for approximately 1-2 minutes, then wash everything off. Done.

I use Nizoral about 1-2 times a week depending on how I feel and I always use a normal conditioner after that (normal as in not specifically tailored or hairloss related). On non-nizoral days I tend to just water wash my hair (about 3-4 days a week) or then use a normal shampoo without SLS (1-2 times a week). Overall, I shampoo on about 3~ days of the week and water wash my hair once a day on the rest of the days.

Excessive shampooing just makes my hair look like complete crap, within 18h or so from washing it. I used to shampoo nigh every day years ago, then cut down on it. There's a short transitional period where your hair looks like sh1t when it gets used to not getting its natural oils stripped of it on a daily basis (shampooing), but then your hair adjusts and tends to look healthier. For me anyway that was the case.

u do know ket as 5 minutes was only designed fordandruff benefits.

to get the anti-androgen properties it would involve leaving it in your head over night. That's the study that was conducted with ket to recieve full benefits

The study actually used ket cream overnight. The shampoo on the head for 7 mins is believed to be the same as leaving the cream in overnight, though this has not bee proven.

The Nizoral cream might work but it made some really sharp headaches when I used it, never experienced since stopping it or before starting and my beard was patchy (beard alopecia).
