what do people noticed first from minoxidil?

thickening of excisting hairs or regrowth from hairs you never noticed you had because of miniaturization?

first thing I noticed was shedding. I also grew some vellus hairs on one of my temples fairly quick.

but did you notice that your existing thinning hair got thinker? before the temple regrowth?

It appears that the hairs on my middle frontal area are getting thicker. But my mid scalp and crown/vertex appear much thinner so far. I'm on the big 3, so I'm hoping this is part where it gets worse before the good results happen. Many progress photos I've seen have looked worse after 2-3 months before the things start getting better. I'm trying not to stress out over it and just hoping for the best....
