What Do Miniaturized Hairs Look Like

Does anyone know what or experience this: Whenever I apply rogaine smaller hairs than normal fall out. I have fairly straight hairs and these are a sort of curly. When laying flat on my sink they almost make a perfect circle. The hair shaft is perfectly fine but the ends are tapered. I am not sure if this is signaling something or if I am looking too much into it.

Tapered ends are also usually a sign though I personally haven't had any fall yet.

Different color, looking thinner and curly. If the top cant get straight even with hair wax you know its sh*t, also them making a circle when falling off is a good indicator.
