What do I start off with?

Sounds like diffuse thinning. I tried xandrox 5% minoxidil with azelaic acid and finasteride. The combo gave me fast regrowth but made me shed like crazy (shedding which didnt seem to stop). I had to stop finasteride due to side effects and as a result i didnt feel comfortable using xandrox any more. It does seem like a good product but some people shed a little too much on it. Give it a try though everyone has different reactions.

was a joke dude. as in ha ha? didn't think anyone would take a logic that skewed seriously...

Sorry,

There are people on the net that would SERIOUSLY use that logic. I've met plenty. We're all strangers in this anonymous format.
no worries, brother. humour doesn't carry well in writing.

Actually what you said would have been hilarious in person.

"FINESTERIDE gets chicks, do it!"

Maybe make a t-shirt or something.

And text sucks for humor. I've had people think I'm damn near psychotic because my humor didn't translate...

When people say "shedding' I believe this is from regrowth and the hair going into another phase?

But too much shedding is bad?

Like the hair doesn't have a chance to stay put or something?

And what side effects came from the Xandrox? It'snot systemic as I understand so were they side effects with skin and scalp or such?

Thanks

Yes your right sheds are usually a good thing they mean the product is working and regrowth is being initiated. In my case i felt maybe i had some sort of alergic reaction to the azelaic acid in the xandrox product. My scalp was irritated and i was finding a lot more hairs falling out than i did with regular minoxidil.

That was my fear there's a rare condiion people can get called telegium efium which is an irregular shedding pattern which can make hair temporarilly look worse. I pannicked and got off it.

One of azelaic acids possible side effects are that it can be a skin irritant. I think i just had a bad reaction. However I could have well just been shedding more than usual and the product was working really well. Without finasteride to almost gaurantee no real hairloss i didnt fancy going ahead with it.
