Whats up guyz im new to the board and hyave been battleing hairloss since the age of 17.It started with my use of steriods which sped up the process.i got on propecia and have been on it since last year that is about 8 years.I hade pretty good results maintaned what I hade, but last year I went to jail for 8 months and could not take propecia and I watched my hair fall out a bunch of hairs at a time.I got out 2 months ago and dont have the money to pay for the drug, since i was getting it free from a nurse that I was really good friends with if u get my drift.well enough of my life story...my new regimine is xandrox 5% morning and xandrox 15% plus night time and shampoo alternate with revita and nizoral 2 % and I also use the laser comb every 2 days.I am losing in front hairline and am balding in the crown area.can i expect to regain what I lost???????

dude forget why he when to jail thats got nothing to do with his hair loss. You need to buy some procar or fincar (generic) from a credible website i recommened inhousepharmacy they seem the best well here in th UK anyway. the drugs the same stuff as proecia but 5mg instead of 1mg so you just cut the pill in fiths. it cost me about 15 pounds for a year supply thats prob about 25 dollars

I think minoxidil is just as good as finasteride.
Your regimen actually sounds pretty good.

Right now I am only using kirkland 5% once at night time.
I might add the 5% foam in the morning though it's like 5x more expensive than the kirkland. No way I'm walking around with kirkland minoxidil in my hair all day :thumbdown2:

I agree, your regimine sounds pretty solid man, you could up it and add spironolactone cream to boost your results. Good to see you posting here!

Lets just say some1 owed me money and i took it into my own hands........anywayz I have been considering adding spironolactone....but why woiuld i need to add that if im already useing topical propecia isnt that basicallly the same thing???????? doesnt it do the same job as spironolactone the topical propecia?but im having side effects im losing my erg to have sex from the xandrox 15% plus.....if i was to exchance use a monox formula with the spiuro at night wouyld that be about teh same result wise aas the minoxidil with topical propecia??????

in thearory yes, but spironolactone is not ment to be as strong a defense to DHT as propecia (finasteride) but yes if thats your only option then it sounds good man. how long have you been on the topical propecia give it time to see if you ride the side effects out i had the same thing but it passed after a few weeks

Ive been on the topical for about 2 months. It is my only option Im not gonnna go back on oral propecia which i was on for 8 years since i was 17.My wife noticed me gaining some hair in the thinning spots ..so lets see how it goes.i might stick to that regimine for about 6 to 7 motnhs then maybe switch to the spironolactone and high concentration minoxidil to see the out come of that and to see if i have less sexual sides!
