What Are The Chances My Hairloss Is Due To Stress?

Hair loss is in half of my family so I figure I have a 50% chance of having it. I just turned 30 and have had no sign of hair loss until this month. Within the last month my hairline has receded slightly and my left temple is very thin with hair.

My question is; is it at all possible that this hairloss is due to stress?

The past 6 months have been extreamly stressful for me. Not just passively stressful but every day I've had to deal with varieing levels of stress

Again hairloss runs in my family and I have a check up in a few days but I was just wondering?

Stress related hairloss rarely results in a noticeable hair loss. If it does, it usually is an overall thinning of everywhere. Temple/hair line recession is the hallmark of male pattern baldness. It is of course your decision. Pictures are worth a thousand words so if you post them people can help you better.
