There are about 20 commercial shampoo products that claim to be DHT blocking shampoos. These typically contain saw palmetto, caffeine, ketoconazole and other substances with known anti-DHT or pro-growth characteristics. Has anyone ever done a side-by-side comparison of these shampoos, showing actual results for each of the products?
Is there any informal consensus about which of these products gives the best results? I have used Nioxin for many years and really like it, but I understand it has a very low saw palmetto concentration.
One of the topics I have not seen discussed often is which of these shampoos contain ingredients that enhance dermal penetration.
