Im asking to Experts and other people. Please Be honest to tell the damages remained in body , side effects . Do u say that those side-effects go away from the body after usage ? or It stays forever?

I dont want to scare people just want to be informed.

From the trials that Merck did with Propecia they say the side affects disappeared quite quickly after use. I would say within a month at least.

No one really knows if there are long term side affects related with finasteride because it's a relatively new treatment. Who knows in ten years time we could all be dead with cancer. But you could also die walking across the road.

So to sum it up. Your body should return to normal after you stop using finasteride. Long-term damage to the body if any is not understood at this time.

asking the question here won't give you an accurate answer.

Just wanted to correct this a little. Finasteride the active ingredient in Propecia has been available and on the market for nearly 20 years now in the form of Proscar. This is ingested at 5 times the dose, daily, higher than Propecia, and there have been no long term side effects reported at all.

It should be noted that the group taking proscar is typically 50+ year old men, not 20 year old men, so this may play a role, but until further data comes out, its best not to ask a bunch of non scientists without any data (that includes me) for this type of information. We just have to wait and see. Opinions are too subjective to be considered reliable facts when it comes to science. They can only be theories.

Reporting purely from observations here on this site, side effects are usually sexual in nature.

Most everyone here reports that mild side effects cease with continued use, and that serious side effects cease after discontinuing doseage. 3 people here on HairLossTalk.com.com have complained about permanent erectile dysfunction in the past year. Make what you will of that, but at least 2 of the 3 displayed signs of low baseline DHT levels (little to no body hair).

DHT is a male hormone. Its not going to kill you not to have it. It just has the potential to make you less of a man. :D

One of my testicles exploded and my penis turned into a eucalyptus leaf. Needless to say I quit immediately. Penis back to normal, and thank god for giving me two nuts.
