What are my options?

So I have been on finasteride 1mg for about a week and I started to develop puffy nipples that caused a dull pain. Now I'm not 100% convinced this was due to the finasteride because I can tend to blow things out of proportion in my mind. I was testing my nipples constantly for gyno and I might have just irritated them. I've also been traveling a lot so my entire body has aches and pains right now. I've been off finasteride now for about 48 hours now and my nipple swelling has gone away, and the pain has reduced but hasn't gone completely away. Now since I'm not 100% that this was caused by the finasteride, I'm going to hop back on it at .5mg and see if it happens again. If it does, I'll assume it is the finasteride and I'll seek other options...

If that happens, what are my other options? I'll hop on minoxidil, and I'm already using Nizoral. Is there anything else I should look into?

if you aren't willing to keep finasteride, there are no other reliable options.

spironolactone will work but very weak and will probably only slow your loss, RU might work but is complicated & expensive, may be the only option capable of replacing finasteride
