I have just turned 18, and the reality of baldness has hit me as a few of my mates are showing some signs of baldness, and I really want to know if I have any chance of not going bald or maybe prolonging/preventing it?
I am not balding yet, but my family history is.. pretty bad to say the least. My dad was balding at 17, completely bald by his early 20's and so was his dad. My mums dad was balding at 14 and completely bald by 18, and I do not have an uncle or cousin on either side of the family who has made it past 25 without significant balding :thumbdown2: even my sister who is 16 is quite worried about her high forehead and a slightly thinning crown.
Everyone in my family except me has (or rather used to have) blonde thin straight hair, and I did too until I was about 8 and my hair colour changed from snow white and straight to thick dark brown and curly?? Any possible reasons for this? Does this mean I may not go bald? Help me guys Im stressin bad!!
