What am I on the Norwood scale?

I've been on minoxodil for around a year and haven't really seen much progress and I just started Finasteride about a month ago, so far nothing to show (I know its early days).

I wanted to know what I am on the scale as I'm finding it hard to pick myself. I think I am a NW3.

Will I ever be able to get my receding hairline back to 'normal' as in what it was before I started thinning/balding?

I will try finasteride for a while to see if I can get any hair back at all but if not then I will seriously consider a hair transplant.
What would be the earliest that I would be able to get one?

Thanks for all the help.

(sorry for the bad pictures, camera is broken).

A NW4 of peace, and prosperity.

forelock-island looks like it's starting to head south.

What treatment would you recommend?
Do you think they'll ever be a way to get my hairline/thinning to be back to normal?
Thanks for the help.

Finasteride will help strengthen existing hair, and maintain in most cases.

Those bald spots will require a transplant to restore.

NW3, pretty aggressive for your age, Best case scenario is finasteride will save your existing hair and a hair transplant will get you a decent hairline. You'll need several thousand grafts. Most would recommend waiting two years on finasteride to see if it has stabilized your hair loss before getting a hair transplant, but give it one year with minoxidil at a minimum.
