What Actually Determines Your Own Balding Pattern/route?

Is it a genetically programmed pattern? i.e we're randomally allocated sensitive follicles in a certain pattern (via genetic/family balding pattern)? or is it determined by your skull shape?

It's kinda weird how people bald in completely different patterns and some areas of the scalp remain immune.

Nobody knows exactly, only theories, they have not been able to prove that it's a genetic pattern, there are people who follow their parents patterns and there are people who don't, like me for example and there are people who don't have bald people in their families for decades and with all that they go bald, some even at younger ages...

With time maybe we will find out but i don't see it close enough i just hope that in our lifetime we will get a more comprehensive understanding of this cosmetic discomfort...
