Went to the doctor today

I went to the doctor today for my scalp itch and she prescribed me a solution called Locoid. It' s a hydrocortisone solution. It feels really great so far on my scalp and seems to be working. But most things I use work for a little bit and then die off, has anyone had any experience with any kind of perscription topical such as this? I havnt read any on anything like this so I may be alone, but i'm just curious if anyone has used anything like this for an extended amount of time and continued working. Thanks.

When I went to do doctor he prescribed me with Valisone, which is a scalp lotion I applied to my scalp to help with the itch. From what I've read it is some sort of steroid solution.

It worked great. really reduced my itching
