Some might remember I was in here freaking out about my hair a little while ago. Anyways, got a consult and he said the back was not outside what would be unreasonable for a 23 year old. Used a microscopic camera to check the different spots. The front which I knew for a fact was receding, but not really at an exceptional rate, did show baby hairs. The normal spots in back and sides were thick, and when he went to the crown he paused for awhile and said "a little thinner" even though it looked about the same to me. It kind of came across as me basically being in the clear, but him trying to push a bunch of bs on me(he mentioned PRP, stem cell, and laser, all those are crap right?).
Other than if those are crap, which Im guessing they are, I wanted to confirm that if in the back there weren't baby hairs, and it looked as thick as the usual thick spots, that I am probably not headed for a big ol bald spot?
And when I said it sounded like I didn't need those treatments, he doubled back and said that what we were seeing in my receding hairline is 98% of the time male pattern baldness. My question is, if thats accurate, it generally will just stop at some point unless its in my genetics to be totally bald in the front, right?
Thanks all
