Wellbutrin (bupuprion), Sertraline (zoloft) And Hair Loss?

Well i am taking both med's for my depression, wellbutrin cause me lot of sex drive, so i dont know if could it cause more hairloss, opposite the sertraline cause me decrease libido, but i read that both meds can cause hairloss,
anyone with experience?

if those medications cause decreased in sex drive and libido thats a good thing for your hair and you wont lose hair. its the same as with finasteride

Setraline does not affect hair loss. It can only reduce stress related hair loss due to inhibition of serotonin but thats it.

The effect that these medications can have on libido has an entirely different cause than that of finasteride, and has nothing to do with male pattern baldness. Sertraline and wellbutrin will not have any effect one way or the other on androgenic hair loss.

How can you be so sure? i have been reading many cases of people having thinning hair due wellbutrin, sorry to keep bothering, but it really scared me, since one of the reason i fell depresed its causes by hair loss, so taking a med that help me with the depresion but causes me more hair loss, i prefer to quit it,

if your taking finasteride already then you wont lose any more hair regardless if youre taking wellbutrin

I used to be on Sertraline in the past, was on it for about 5 years.
Didn’t cause me any hairloss as far as I could tell. In fact most my hair loss has happened post stopping Sertraline.
I wouldn’t worry about it.

Antidepressants can occasionally cause hair loss, but this is very rare. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you, because it is so rare. I was on Sertraline for 10 years before the onset of my male pattern baldness, and I never had any hair loss during that time.
