Since i've been using this forum.
I had my apendix rupture november 30th..
talk about the worst pain ever.. then it got infected, i was in the hospital for 2 weeks.
I didnt take my propecia or any hair regimine for that matter for about a week.
on top of that my hair loss hasnt slowed down at all.. it's getting more noticable and unable to disquise.
i'm hoping and praying that my sugery doenst cause more hair loss a few months down the road.
And i really hope that propecia is going to kick in for me any one of these days now and see some regrowth.
it's been about 4 months now and i dont have anything good to report yet.
I got a lot of hats (per my request) for christmas, it's just unfortunate that i can't wear them to work.
I started lexapro a few weeks ago also. I've found that xanex helps but is not good for long term use. lexapro helps you cope with axiety, and i think that's what hair loss sufferers have... not so much depression, just a lot of anxiety and stress.
anyway, i'm glad that i'm still around and look forward to seeing more hair advise, tips and encouragement.
