Weird shedding

I noticed today that one of my hairs that fell out had like another really small/fine hair that seemed to be growing from the bulb of the longer/darker one, anyone else had this happen and is this just a normal thing that happens every now and then?

i believe multiple hairs can grow from one follicle

or maybe more correctly more than one hair can grow from one pore

maybe the joining fine hair was being miniaturized
