Weird minoxidil??

I was using liquid minoxidil, it was kinda greasy and would take hours to dry completely causing the hair to be a bit stiff all day long..

Well i switched brands just to try another minoxidil (also liquid) but its weird cuz even though the smell is similar to the other, this minoxidil is a bit more watery and dries off in like 3 minutes and its not greasy at all..

Is this normal? Why would a liquid minoxidil be so different than another liquid minoxidil?

Should i be questioning its efficacy cuz of this?

I didnt understand your question about holding out on something??

About the brand i cant tell because things are completely different in brasil than they are in other countries like USA.. A few examples are we dont need prescription to buy most meds including fina and all other baldin products.. None here uses generic meds from pharmacy/drug store because for example, generic med X costs 500 dollars for example..

But here we have what we call Manipulation Pharmacies that they produce your medication like minoxidil or u can give them the formula and they will make it.. Dont think its weird cuz its very wrll known here and legit lol.. Its as good as a normal drug store.. They can even manipulate 15% minoxidil but you need a prescription..

So as i was saying the Generic Med X costs 500 dollars in a regular drug store with merck or medley brand.. If u go to these manipulation pharmacies u can find from 50-100 dollars depending on the neighborhood it is located.. It just has no brand, just the pharmacy's name


Well none of this is important, what i want to know is if anyone knows what causes generic minoxidil to be kinda greasy and takes longer to dry and if the fact that the other minoxidil dries off so fast makes any difference when it comes to it's efficacy?
