Hey Guys/Everyone - really need a hand here

I have a really weird case. I'm thinning out, dropping close to 50-150 or more hairs a wash. The fallen hairs were once thin hairs but now are thick, i.e they look pretty healthy and not thin. I'm very shocked and get pretty frustrated/upset and disappointed after each wash.. for the last 7 months now. You can noticeably see my scalp in the light.

Both of my grandfathers had a full head of hair 70+, my dad has full hair at 63, both of my older brothers one 12 years older and the other 9 years older have thick.. I mean far far thicker hair than mine. I'm a 27 year old male relatively healthy and I'm fit. My hair line is not really receding too much but its just thinning out overall especially the top and back, again my entire male family including cousins are much older than me and have far more hair on their scalp.

I started Propecia but noticed my shedding continued through after 3 months of use everyday, I have noticed side effects i.e irregular ejaculation, pre-ejac, and a few other issues down there that has come with the use of Propecia and gone after I took an 8 week break. I'm back on it however sparingly.. and I know that's not right (no need to flame me) and I know I need to consider it for longer i.e over 8 months to give it a trial as I've been reading. I've never really had oily hair before and I get quite a bit of dandruff, I do noticed that after a night of drinking an incredible amount of hair falls off the very next washing, the same goes with drinking coffee.. its going to sound weird but I get a tingly feeling in my scalp and when I feel that much more hair is losses than average.

I have started using Nizoral 2% to reduce my dandruff but the oiliness is still present and so is the dandruff. I have just purchased Costco's Hair Regrowth (light blue box) Minoxidil 2% topical solution and I'm wondering if I should re-try Propecia full time in conjunction with Minoxidil, I'm scared I'll loose even more hair at a faster rate and not go back to where I am now. I noticed after 3 months of Propecia I've lost far more hair than starting, I know.. I read the forums regarding shedding but I still can't help myself.. its a really really depressing aspect of my day to me.. I just can't explain it, it really really gets me down. I don't know what to do and I'm really reaching out for help

Why is this a "weird" case? Seems pretty normal to me. What is your question?
