The big reason to be happy we're living in 2007 is the widespread acceptance of male baldness as normal and even attractive in many cases. Hair is a cosmetic preference these days.
Hasn't that ALWAYS been the case? The only difference is that since the late 90s we've had some effective treatments for the first time - which most people around the world don't know about anyway!
