Description of Incident: Telephone Solicitation
On Thursday 9/18/03 at 10:40 AM, a student reported to the Department of Public Safety that he received a telephone call from an individual asking the student for his date of birth, social security number, his parents name and his mothers maiden name. The caller ID indicated that the call came from extension 760-553-2062. The Department of Public Safety has also received similar reports from other University members.
I searched the number on Swichtboard and found nothing.
