Watery Sperm Quitting Finasteride For 1.5 Months

Hey guys,

I quit finasteride around a month and a half ago. I took 0.25mg everyday for about 3.5 months and I quit because of watery sperm side effect. My sperm is still watery. Sometimes it looks a little bit better but sometimes it looks like how it was when I was still taking finasteride, very runny and clear much like water. I do masturbate a lot, probably more than five times a day on average. Do you think I may have caused irreversible damage by masturbating so much while taking, and while getting off, this drug? I'm gonna stop masturbating for a while and then see how it goes.

Anyone have any information, anecdotal or research based on how long it takes for sperm to go back to normal? I thought it would've in about a month of quitting but it's still not the way it was pre-finasteride. I'd like to have kids one day and this is making me insanely worried that I may have jeopardized that possibility.

I have been doing it that often for years and my sperm wouldn't get watery until like third or fourth time. Now it's watery after like the first or second time. And it's overall just a different consistency and color and all that...

Stop jerking off for few days, it'll be difficult to control I know,but you'll have to wait it out to check if it gets back to normal. AFAIK,5 times is an abnormal number of wanks per day.

I would stay on it. I don't have any tests or research studies but in my case when I first got on my libido took a slight hit (no morning wood, etc) and I also got watery semen. Around month 5-6 my libido came back to normal and so did the rest. Idk maybe the body needs a long time to adapt. Currently take 1mg/day, month 9.

Studies just show that your sperm quality improve once you quit finasteride but they didnt measure the sperm quality they had before they started finasteride

Try it for 1 year and then have your sperm count tested.
