Does the watered down semen most experience on Finasteride linked with sterility? In other words, does watery semen mean you are shooting blanks? Thanks

I am more concerened about hair than semen....a woman does get attracted to u first by your looks than your semen...so dont fret about it....its no big deal....So long u emit semen, u can just pass off as a sexually potent man and blame it on the woman for not being sterile at the most....

No it does not mean you are shooting blanks. It's a side affect of finasteride that causes watery semen.

as far as i know, the prostate is what produces the thick/white viscous and alkaline substance that is part of the semen. propecia is a designed to shrink the prostate, thus a side effect is sometimes a less viscous/white load. the sperm part, is the testes job. there have been no studies that i am aware of that link propecia to inhibiting testicular production of sperm or to decreased fertility.

Look into taking some of these suppliments, they are supposed to help in increasing volume and health:
L-Aginine
L-Lysine
Zinc Oxcide

I read somewhere (actually several places, sorry no links) that propecia does not affect fertility. My Doctor said that too. That means watery semen does not affect sperm count. However, it is also true that finasteride can result in a lower ejaculate volume. Now, I'm confused. If the sperm concentration doesn't change, should a smaller ejaculate volume result in a net lower number of sperms?

id guess that finasteride doesnt actually affect ejaculate volume a great deal.

ive had watery semen pretty much since starting finasteride (maybe a month in, i forget). im now at the 1 year 2 month mark. it doesnt both me in the slightest - im seeing success, who cares how white my ejaculate is!?

as for volume, im ejaculating a lot more now than before, but thats nothing to do with finasteride. its because im keeping healthy, have been going to the gym and lifting weights regularly, keep fit, etc. maybe also because the protein shakes i take contain L-arginine and L-lysine....?

you have nothing to worry about.
