Was I underchanged for finasteride in Canada?

Just wondering, since everyone seems to complain about how expensive finasteride is for them... 100 capsules of 5mg generic finasteride was 85 dollars after tax at Shopper's Drug Mart. Not online, just at the pharmacy. That's enough for 400 days @ 1.25mg daily, which equals just about 22 cents a day. I'm not sure if finasteride is just cheaper in Canada. I know that Canada defines baldness as a genetic disease, so it's possible that the drug is subsidized.

That is very cheap. When I went to shoppers they wanted $80 for 1 month of 1mg Propecia. For generics it was $50.

I did some shopping around and a local walmart was selling generic 1mg finasteride for $25/90 pills. That's what I've been using. Every pharmacy differs.

You got a great deal. Very surprising since you're in the northwest territories. Everything is supposed to be more expensive there.
