Want To Donate Blood - Get Off Propecia?

I'm between a NW1-2. 29 years old. Been on Propecia 5MG with Rogaine for about 3 months. My hair seems fuller, but I've also been growing it out too. I have a widow's peak, but thick hair.

Come to find out I can't donate blood, which is an issue for me because I'm 0-Negative (universal donor).

Will this work...

Stay off Propecia for 30 days
Donate blood
Get back on Propecia for 8 weeks
Stay off Propecia for 30 days
Donate blood
Wash, rinse, repeat?

If not, does anyone have any alternative treatments? Just Rogaine, maybe?
