I am a long time user of the 5% minoxidil Equate brand from Walmart and am going to switch to Kirkland 5% brand minoxidil to see if it is any better at keeping side effects at bay. I have a big problem with dizzy spells and psoriasis and I do think the minoxidil plays a part in both. Has anyone else tried both brand and could you tell any difference between the two? Kirkland from costco is also cheaper.

Both brands of Liquid minoxidil contain 'Propylene Glycol'
That's what's causing the irritation.
As for the dizziness, that could be caused by too much minoxidil entering the scalp.

Solution: Use Minoxidil Foam. The Foam does NOT contain 'Propylene Glycol'. So the irritation will go away.
As for the dizziness, try & use minoxidil once a day, instead of twice
