Hi All – anyone have any experience/results with viviscal? The clinical studies for it treating male pattern baldness are definitely promising… and I can’t seem to find any forum/blog discussions on it. I think that has a lot to do with it’s price, it’s like US$220 for 3 months worth.

Anyway, I’m going to give it a whirl… I hope it works for me… such a shame I couldn’t stay on fin… it was absolute poison for me.

Dude, that is such a SCAM! Stay away from it! How long did you try to stay on finasteride? You should try the "Big 3" before anything else, and even then there are better things to spend your money on than that.

The Big 3 are:

-Finasteride (if not working after giving it 6-12 months, then dutasteride)
-Minoxidil 5%
-Nizoral Shampoo

Haha dude, there is no need for you to introduce me to the big 3, I am no noob. Propecia was terrible for me… and I wasn’t one of the ones who didn’t stick to treatments etc… it consistently made me lose hair for months on end, terrible acne and you know the rest of the symptoms… sure you’ve heard it many times before. Only to end up with half the hair I had in the first place…

Nevertheless, you never never know till you never never go as the aussies say.

I don’t know what else to try… no one I have spoken to has tried Viviscal.. so I’m going to try it….

Clinical studies show promise – two studies were conducted which showed great results for male pattern baldness, however both studies were sponsored and conducted by the proprietor of the drug… however a few years later two independent studies were conducted which confirmed the proprietor’s claims…

Anyway.. I will test out and let you know my results… I think HairLossTalk.com is a bit one track minded in terms of treatment ie. “FDA and FDA onlyâ€â€¦ but what about the ppl who can’t get results from these treatments like me?

Are you a spammer?

Haha ok you test it out. You might as well flush your money down the drain. And even if you come back here and say it works, no one will believe you anyway and will think you're a spammer.

If you really want to try something unusual that works, try cocaine. I've been using it for a week now and it blocks 100% of type II DHT and 95% of type I. It also contains other neat things to help regrow your hair.

Nizoral - not FDA approved for hair loss
spironolactone- not FDA approved for hair loss
Avodart- not FDA approved for hair loss
Tricomin- not FDA approved for hair loss
Folligen- not FDA approved for hair loss
Prox-N- not FDA approved for hair loss
Proxiphen- not FDA approved for hair loss

Need I go on? Nah, I think you get the point. There are only two FDA approved products for hair loss so it only seems natural that on a HAIR LOSS site, people might mention these products quite a bit. But plenty of others are mentioned as well and do work. And they aren't wastes of money like Viviscal.
