"Vin Diesel"

Something I see posted over and over again is how people should embrace their baldness rather than try and fight it. And no less than 100 times have I seen references made to Vin Diesel, and how he's bald and all the ladies want him. Look... there's nothing wrong with encouraging people to keep their chin up and keep a positive attitude. A good outlook never hurt anyone. But to say that we shouldn't worry just because one incredibly good looking hollywood actor is bald and gets tons of ladies doesn't make any sense. It's a simple fact that different looks work for different people. Some guys, look just fine, even great bald. And it's a good thing because they'll never have to worry about looking bad when they lose their hair. But for most others, losing their hair detracts seriously from their looks. It's not a look everyone can pull off like Vin does. It would be like saying that everyone would look great with a mustache just because it worked for Tom Sellek. Don't get me wrong. It's a great thing to encourage others to keep a good attitude and high spirits, and even to try and feel better about their baldness. But please stop citing the Vin Diesel example as a reason why we shouldn't worry. Because we don't all look as good bald as he does. It's not helpful. Don't mean to gripe... I just thought it funny and wanted to point this out after I saw Vin talked about in a thread for about the thousandth time. Just because "A" works for "B" does not mean "A" works for everyone. My two cents.

Vin Diesel got layed even before he was famous, I saw his documentary. He was a big time NY club bouncer who was hot on the circuit and in demand. I guess the chicks really dug him.

Furthermore I have plenty of friends that are shaved and they get layed a lot more than me.

Duncan McFly.... I agree with you completely. I couldn't have said it better myself. I think infact vin looks better with the shaved look, I saw him in a movie once with some hair and he looked like a loser. Unfortunately most of us look like sh*t with the shaved head.... 90% of us probably.... and all the guys i know who are balding and shave their heads.... DO NOT get chix..... but I hope it works for you =]

Peace.

vin diesel is an ugly f****r. i don't care what anyone says..i remember seeing him for the first time in saving private ryan. i don't know how women thought he was attractive..it's just because he's muscular. not his face. anyways, in most cases, people who are not white can pull of shaved heads

To me, Vin Diesel just looks like a 6 foot tall Mini-Me. And Mini-Me is about 10x more intelligent.

Hey wait just a minute I look just like him, clothes, shaved head etc... Lots of guys that are bald follow his beat because it gives us hope. Mini Me is just a freak of nature.

My girlfriend love`s the c**t.I asked her if she`d fancy him more with hair. She said she`d never really thought about it.
she also said that she had not seen him with hair in any of his films.

It goes back to that kelly slater thread. If you had seen the guy(slater) a few years back you would think he`d lost most of his looks in those recent pics, but my girlfriend didnt have a clue who the guy was but thought he was good looking.I showed her some old pics and she couldnt believe it was the same dude. She still thought he was sexy but not as sexy knowning how he looked before. first impressions count for a lot!

I guess my point is that when you meet people for the first time they dont instantly think "oh my god he`s going bald!",as they wont of ever seen you with a full head of hair!(unless you bump into someone you have not seen for a few years)
