I'm on 1mg finasteride for 4 years now and switched to and the shedding I am experiencing the last few weeks is abnormal.
I shower every 2-3 days and have like 200 hair strains in the shower. I am 100% certain that this wasn't the case in the past. It was way less.
To add, I do not use shampoo any longer.

left and right temple seem to be nw2-3 and nothing to worry about you would think. But with this amount of shedding I am afraid this will end up with diffuse thinning.

Those are thick healthy hairs too. I don’t feel like there’s any miniaturization from the ones you shed. If you went three days with no shower you have to anticipate some hairs coming out.
I get it though if this is a new occurrence why you’d be so worried. People go through increase times of shedding due to physical or emotion stress. What happened 90 days ago?
